MOLECULES TO THE MIND
In the past people drew the richness of the brain with little boxes and arrows. Information went from one to another. Now we can draw a diagram of one cell out of on thousand billion in the brain; the boxes are individual molecules and the arrows are chemical reactions. So today, in one cell we can see the richness that we used to think emerged from the whole brain.
